Thursday, December 7

1:30pm-Be in place for Indian Walk (WHS Students and Staff, Wetumpka Community also invited to attend)

1:45pm-Football Team Buses Depart WHS

 

Friday, December 8

12 Noon-WHS and Feeder Schools Dismissed (WES, WMS, Redland)

4:55pm-Walk of Champions at Bryant-Denny Stadium

7:00pm—Kickoff

 

INDIAN WALK AT WETUMPKA HIGH SCHOOL:

The Wetumpka High School Football Team will depart for Tuscaloosa tomorrow, Thursday, December 7, in preparation for Friday night’s 6A State Championship game against Pinson Valley. Please come show your support and encouragement for your Wetumpka Indians at the Indian Walk on Thursday as they leave for the big game! Please be in place by 1:30 pm at Wetumpka High School as we line the front exit to cheer on our team, which will leave around 1:45 pm. We invite the community to show its pride in the accomplishments of the 2017 Indians as they head to the championship game! Thank you and GO INDIANS!

 

WALK OF CHAMPIONS AT BRYANY-DENNY STADIUM:

Wetumpka will face Pinson Valley in the AHSAA 6A State Football Championship game at Bryant-Denny Stadium on the Campus of The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.  Game time is 7:00pm.  The Super 7 experience would not be complete in Tuscaloosa without The Walk of Champions, so all parents, students, faculty, band members and cheerleaders, as well as the entire Wetumpka community, are encouraged to line the Walk of Champions as the team enters the stadium at 4:55pm on Friday afternoon.

Remember, in an effort to enhance public safety and make stadium access more efficient, Bryant-Denny Stadium has taken the necessary precautions by implementing a clear bag policy. FAN ENTRANCES:

Gate 1 – Suite and Club Level Entrance (Once Inside Gate 1 elevators will be used to access The North Zone and the Suites)

Gate 3 – PINSON VALLEY IS THE HOME TEAM. Home Spectators (TICKET SALES AND ALL WILL CALL)

Gate 8 – AHSAA Coaches Pass Gate/Hospitality Entrance (President’s Gate)

Gate 47 – WETUMPKA IS THE AWAY TEAM. Away Spectators (TICKET SALES ONLY) 

 

FAN EXITS:

Gates 11 and 15 – Home Spectators Exit (Pinson Valley)

Gate 35 and 38 – Away Spectators Exit (Wetumpka High School)

 

PARKING:

During Super 7, the University of Alabama will still be completing its Fall 2017 academic term, so event parking will be working around normal campus activities. Public parking on the University of Alabama campus outside of designated areas is prohibited before 5 p.m. each day.  For the 5A/6A/7A games (start time after 5 p.m. each day) fans can park in the Ten Hoor parking area on a first-come, first-serve basis in addition to parking in the Northeast Commuter Lot. All parking for the 7A State Championship Game on Wednesday December 6th will be at the Ten Hoor parking areas and there will be NO shuttle service to the stadium on Wednesday December 6th. 2017 There will be several restricted parking areas associated with the Super 7 State Championships and those with access will be issued an event parking pass. If you have a parking pass it must be visible on the dashboard at all times. The “Communications Card Lot” has a total of 70 spaces that will be used exclusively for fans attending Super 7 that display a current state-issued and valid handicapped tag or placard entitling them to parking in designated handicapped areas. Please consult the Super 7 event parking map detailing parking locations and shuttle information for this year’s event in Tuscaloosa or visit the event web site at www.super7al.com.

 

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

During the AHSAA Super 7 Championships, the AHSAA will comply with all applicable University of Alabama policies regarding prohibited items. Bryant-Denny Stadium and all other Alabama Athletics Facilities prohibit the following items:

▪ ANY BAG (Includes back packs, purses, etc.) NOT APPROVED BY CLEAR BAG POLICY

▪ Chair backs LARGER than a single seat (16 inches wide)

▪ Coolers

▪ Weapons

▪ Artificial noisemakers (bells, horns, whistles, cow bells, etc.)

▪ Outside food and/or drink

▪ Strollers

▪ Umbrellas

▪ Video recorders or camcorders

▪ Computers

▪ Cameras with telephoto lenses over 6 inches long

▪ Flags/Banners on poles

▪ Any other items deemed inappropriate, hazardous, or unsafe by venue personnel.

 

TICKETS ONLINE AND AT THE GATE:

All Super 7 single day, group packages, and suite tickets can be purchased in advance of the event online via the official online ticketing provider for the AHSAA, GoFan. Fans can purchase tickets online by visiting: https://gofan.co/app/school/AHSAA/Super7 All other sales will be conducted on-site at Bryant-Denny Stadium beginning December 6, 2017 at 2:30PM.  Please note the following policies and information regarding 2017 AHSAA Super 7 State High School Football Championships tickets:

• Tickets purchased in advance online via https://gofan.co/app/school/AHSAA/Super7 will be $12 each plus applicable GoFan fees and those purchased on-site at BryantDenny Stadium will be $15 each.

• All single day and group tickets are for general admission seating as there will be no reserved seating areas within Bryant-Denny Stadium.

• All single day and group tickets are good for all games on the day the ticket is purchased for/used.

• There are NO “PASS OUT” privileges.

• The AHSAA Super 7 Championships has a no refunds or exchanges policy on all tickets sold.

• Children ages five (5) and under will be admitted free without a ticket.

• Ticket sales will conclude at the end of the 3rd quarter of the day’s final game.
